This Jeep was a special project brought to us by a local customer that loved our attention to detail and quality, but wanted to pick out his own Jeep to make his own, so that’s exactly what he did. Once we had a basic road map of the build, we got to work. The Jeep he picked out was built for serious offroading back in the early 2000’s, and was used as such. So, she had a lot of bumps, bruises, and worn out bushings to address before we could start adding some cool to it. I am personally very proud of this build, as it came out exactly as I had planned, if not a little better. If you have a Jeep, or any other vehicle that you might like the same attention to detail, please give me a call, I can probably help.

BEFORE!!!
Original Interior wasn’t in terrible shape, but showing her age! Notice that aftermarket console?!

The visual enhancements didn’t end there. The introduction of LED headlights and a powerful LED Light bar has not only heightened the vehicle’s visibility during nighttime drives but also added an attractive touch to its rugged face. Paired with the front/rear camera installation, maneuvering in tight spots or challenging trails is now easier and safer than ever.

As off-road champions, we understand the importance of a good soundtrack during those epic adventures. Hence, the installation of high-quality JBL front speakers and a bazooka powered subwoofer was a no-brainer. Whether you’re driving on city roads or exploring uncharted territories, the Jeep TJ now delivers a mesmerizing audio experience.

Inside the cabin, we aimed for ultimate comfort and convenience. Reupholstered memory foam seats invite you in for a cozy ride, while a new carpet kit adds a layer of luxury underfoot. To minimize road noise and vibration, we installed Dynamat sound insulation, creating a tranquil haven inside the vehicle. For a seamless digital experience on the move, we integrated Apple Car Play into our TJ. This upgrade lets you safely enjoy your iPhone’s features such as maps, music, and messages, enhancing connectivity and navigation.

With all these enhancements, our Jeep TJ has morphed from a basic off-roader to a luxuriously rugged cruiser, proving that even the most hardcore adventure vehicles can be tailored for supreme comfort and top-notch functionality. This transformation is a testament to our love for innovation and attention to detail, creating a vehicle that’s a treat to drive, no matter where the road takes you.

Full Custom OEM Seats!
Drivers seat close up

The factory Jeep seats were showing some age, so we decided to do something a little extra, and make them full custom. They were stripped down to the frames and rebuilt with custom memory foam. Then, we wrapped them with a waterproof neoprene materiel to make clean up a breeze. To finish it off, the “Jeep” logo was sewn into the seat backs. We can do this with any vehicle!

160 sq ft of dynamat!

For the base of the interior, we had to do something about the extreme AZ heat! To help deal with that, we added over 160sq ft of Dynamat Xtreme to literally every interior surface. This also created a very solid, quiet and sound base to build the ultimate TJ interior on top off. The result of all this work was an interior cabin that’s not only quiet, but cool!

Auxbeam Light Controller
Auxbeam auxiliary fuse and relay panel mounted under the hood

When it came time to plan the electronics it became evident that we had more things to control than places to put switches. Luckily for us, Auxbeam has the answer with this fully customize – able relay and panel set. Using the supplied relay box, we were able to locate everything in one place, utilizing the correct fuses for each application. In the cabin, we have a color matched panel that illuminates to turn on the rock lights individually, the backup lights on command, as well as a winch lockout and even a subwoofer on/off switch. So clean!

LED lighting all around!

Auxbeam ditch lights!
LED headlights with integrated turn signals!
Alpine Double Din Stereo with custom painted dash surround.

For the head unit, we went with Alpine, simply because it gave us the flexibility of Apple Car Play, Android Auto and also let us have two camera inputs that are always available!

Coming together!

The interior was completely refreshed, with every panel being stripped, and repainted to original. That meant we could color match things like the radio bezel and custer surround, you know, the way it should have been from the factory!

This Jeep didn’t come with a center console, so we added an OEM piece!
Removable Bazooka Subwoofer fits perfectly
I couldn’t get that fake rubicon sticker off fast enough! We sent the Jeep to Sandoval Paint and Body in Mesa,AZ for a stellar top shelf paint job! We added 4 extra layers of clear coat. This was so that he could wheel it, scratch it up, and still be able to buff it out to a showroom shine for years to come. The bonus was an exceptionally deep finish.
This Jeep is on a Rusty’s Offroad 6 inch long arm kit previously installed. We refreshed it.
Bushing severely worn.

Next up was to go through each piece of suspension, bushing by bushing and replace them. While doing this, I went ahead and sanded them down and repainted them with high temperature chassis paint. Since this was a quality kit, we decided to rebuild it rather than replace. While doing this, I found a bunch of mild steel low grade hardware. Definitely not what you want holding your suspension on, grade 8 stainless was the go to all around. This meant adding clearance almost every component. Once we got it back together and aligned, it became the smoothest driving most capable Jeep I’ve ever driven. Even the roughest roads are smooth as silk.
